Marin Rotary Climate Action Teams are partnering with Resilient Neighborhoods to offer a challenge to their members to collectively reduce 1 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions!
Take action on climate and live more sustainability. Be one of the Marin Rotary households to meet the challenge by completing the free online Resilient Neighborhoods Climate Action Workshop . Have fun calculating your carbon footprint and taking steps to reduce it. Make your household resilient to droughts, wildfires, and power outages. In just five meetings, you and your climate action team will achieve measurable results through impactful actions big and small. And you will have continuous access a toolkit with money saving resources to help you reach your short and long-term goals.

How to ParticipateSTEP ONE: Sign up for a free online Resilient Neighborhoods Climate Action Workshop (Sign up for a session starting in January 2024; or receive notifications the next workshops offered)
STEP TWO: Ask Marin friends and family to join you for the workshop. All referrals from Rotary members are counted towards the Challenge! STEP THREE: Attend the 5-session workshop. Develop your personalized Climate Action Plan, and take actions to reduce your carbon footprint and create a resilient household and community. (Workshops meetings are held on Zoom every two weeks over ten weeks). STEP FOUR: Graduate with your Climate Action Team and celebrate your achievements! Your impact will automatically count toward the Marin Rotary Challenge Goal (see above)! |
