Resilient Neighborhoods: Be Part of the Climate Solution
Resilient Neighborhoods brings people together and empowers them to do something about climate change, lower their bills, strengthen their communities and prepare for emergencies.
Register for the 5-meeting workshop!
You'll learn about specific actions you can take to reduce your carbon emissions and save money by trimming energy and waste, conserving water and driving more economically. Is your household prepared for emergencies? Find out how to make your household and community safer and more resilient. In a fun and supportive atmosphere, class participants form an EcoTeam and go on a 'low-carbon' diet to lose at least 5,000 lbs. of carbon emissions in 60 days.
Is this class for you?
Whether you've done a little or a lot already, this class is for you.
Participants will calculate their household CO2 footprints and then learn about and take actions on shopping, waste, water, transportation, home energy, emergency preparedness and building a climate movement. Plan to attend all 5 meetings, or let us know if you have a conflict.
You can join a team at a public venue listed here or work with us to form a team with neighbors, friends, bookclub members, co-workers, or congregants.
Resilient Neighborhoods has helped over 800 Marin residents reduce more than 3.7 million pounds of carbon pollution.
